Shipping policy

All orders are processed the same day if ordered before 2 pm (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. All packages are shipped with Canada Post. There may be delays in shipping times due to many reasons. Canada & USA Shipping Rates and Estimates

We offer free shipping for all North American orders over $200If your order is under these amounts respectively, shipping options and charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Lettermail shipping is also offered on select items. Lettermail shipments do not come with tracking.

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders over $50 within the Edmonton Area. For orders under $50, we charge $10 for local delivery. Deliveries are made the same day if your purchase is before 3 pm (excluding weekends and holidays). We will contact you via text message with the phone number and or email you provided at checkout to notify you of our arrival time. 

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to over 190 countries. All international shipping options and charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. The Video Game Company is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us, which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status (excluding domestic lettermail, Small Packet USA, Small Packet International, International Parcel). Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven't received your order within 10 days of your estimated shipping arrival, please contact us at with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, Returns, and Warranty

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. We also offer a 60 day warranty program on all items.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at with your order number and a photo of the item's condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
